Melaka – As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Central Cables Berhad recently launched the “Back-to-School Support Drive 2025”, a community outreach initiative aimed at uplifting underserved students in rural areas of Melaka.
In collaboration with local education offices and village leaders, our team distributed over 300 school supply kits—including bags, stationery, uniforms, and workbooks—to primary school students from low-income families. The event, held at SK Kampung Teluk, was attended by school representatives, parents, and employees of Central Cables Berhad who volunteered to support the effort.
“Education is the foundation of a strong, empowered community,” said Mr. Azhari Hassan, General Manager of Central Cables Berhad. “We’re proud to contribute not just cables that power infrastructure, but resources that help shape futures.”
This initiative is part of a broader CSR roadmap focused on three key pillars: education, sustainability, and community well-being. Earlier this year, Central Cables also launched an internship and skills training program for technical students from vocational colleges around Melaka.
